Private debt fund manager Certior Capital plots growth with new senior investment hire

Certior Capital, the Helsinki-based private markets manager, has recently expanded its senior investment team with the hiring of Olli Heinilä as an investment director. Heinilä has 20 years of experience across European private equity and credit markets investing in primary funds, secondaries and co-investments.

He was previously an investment director at eQ Asset Management, and before this he worked as an investment director at listed private equity investor Amanda Capital as well as Mandatum Private Equity Funds and Sampo Group.

Ari Jauho, chairman at Certior Capital, said: “He brings with him a very strong investment track record across private equity and private credit and I am sure he will make a great contribution to the business. We are also considering additional hires as we build out our private equity and private credit team”.

This latest hire follows the recruitment in November last year of Guy Waller to assist the company with its business development activities.
