LendInvest

LendInvest is the world’s first online lending business for property. We were spun out of Montello, an offline bridging finance lender that was set up in 2008, and launched in 2013. Since then we have originated over £775 million of property loans for landlords and developers, and are regarded as one of the most active short-to-medium term mortgage lenders in the UK. LendInvest borrowers have bought, built or refurbished 2,600 UK properties worth over £1.3 billion. All our loans are secured by a legal charge against UK property and we have consistently provided returns of 5% or more per annum to investors. LendInvest became the only UK online lender to report three years’ of profitability in its first three years of trading, with profits for FY 2016 rising to £3.4 million. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and became the first marketplace lender to be rated twice by a regulated European credit rating agency in 2015 and 2016. Follow us at @lendinvest.

Liberis

Liberis’ mission is to provide on-demand, fairly priced and flexible working capital to small businesses throughout their lifetime credit cycle. We’ve provided nearly £100 million of funding to around 3,000 SMEs and are growing rapidly.

Liberis established Business Cash Advances in 2007 because SMEs were not finding the funding answers they needed in the marketplace. (figures suggest that the scale of the SME funding gap in the UK ranges from £29bn to £59bn). Traditional banking and loan models haven’t been providing the flexible, simple funding that SMEs need and, more importantly, the funding simply wasn’t available.

The company is headquartered in London and employs 55 staff.
