Prior to stepping up and launching Goji, Jake advised some of the largest UK P2P lending platforms during his five years as an adviser at Grant Thornton, the global advisory firm. This work included IPOs and strategic and regulatory reviews for some of the biggest names in the ​fintech and wealth management sectors. These included Woodford Investment Management’s £800m IPO, the sale of Intelliflo to Hg and the sale of GoCompare.com.

Josh is a Managing Partner and co-founder of MASECO Private Wealth.  He began his financial career at Salomon Smith Barney in New York as a Financial Advisor and moved with them to London in 2001 where he started the US Ex-pat Team with James Sellon.  In 2008, he co-founded MASECO Private Wealth in the UK, followed in subsequent years by MASECO Switzerland and MASECO Asia in Hong Kong.  Josh is also a seasoned expert in Alternative Credit and is the architect of the MASECO Asset Management multi-strategy Alternative Credit Fund.

Over the course of his career, Josh was awarded the International Private Bank Outstanding Young Private Banker Award and has been a City Wealth Leader for many years.  He is an internationally ​recognised speaker and has spoken at notable conferences in New York, Singapore and London.  Josh also contributes regularly as a subject matter expert to wealth management forums and roundtable discussions and is regularly featured in industry magazines and newspapers, in addition to writing industry columns himself.  Josh believes companies play an important part in our society and spearheaded MASECO’s efforts to become the first B Corporation in the UK in financial services and is a UK Founding Member of B Corp.

Stuart Lunn (along with business partner Bill Dobbie) launched LendingCrowd in January 2014 in Edinburgh. LendingCrowd is the only P2P lending platform headquartered in Scotland, providing UK SMEs with loans from multiple investors across the country. Since launch, LendingCrowd has facilitated over £7 million of these loans to SMEs across many different sectors. Prior to being CEO of LendingCrowd, Stuart worked as an equity analyst covering the UK technology sector and worked for a number of top firms in the City of London, including Collins Stewart and Cenkos. During this time, Stuart advised a broad range of companies and was also involved in a number of fundraisings on the AIM market. He is also an investor in a number of early-mid stage technology and online businesses

As Head of Business Development, Simon is responsible for instigating and maintaining relationships with investors and with European platforms. In addition, as CEO of MW Eaglewood Europe LLP, Simon is responsible for managing the European business. Prior to joining the firm, Simon was a Director of Equity Sales and Equity Capital Markets at Dresdner Kleinwort, J.P. Morgan Cazenove and most recently Liberum. As a founder and former board Director of Liberum, Simon was part of a number of transactions in the equity space and has advised many new technology companies in equity and debt raisings. Simon has been involved in the U.K. marketplace lending industry as both an investor and advisor and has built extensive relationships with many of the leading marketplace lending platforms. Gabriella Kindert

Gabriella Kindert (MA, MBA, PhD candidate) is a senior banking and investment professional with over 20 years of international experience gained at leading financial institutions in banking, asset management and private equity. 

She is the Head of Alternative Credit at NN IP including several illiquid fixed income strategies including residential real estate, corporate private debt, ECA loan, project finance and commercial real estate loans. This includes expanding the existing activities towards a broader range of clients through offering new products and entering new lending activities of value to NN IP clients. The Alternative Credit Boutique currently has € 17 billion of assets under management.

She started her career in banking in 1998 in MeesPierson Corporate and Investment Banking where she gained insight in various asset classes (asset based finance, project finance, leveraged finance) in different geographies. She held various managerial positions with financial institutions including Fortis Bank, Fortis Investments, BNP Paribas IP the latter as Global Head of Loans. She gained extensive experience in structuring and managing investment solutions (CLO, listed fund etc.) and took part of the management team of Global Credits. Since 2011, Gabriella has taken on various investment initiatives in the field of Private Debt, Real Estate and Private Equity as well as board level advisory projects for larger financial Dutch institutions.  

She has an M.A. in History; M.A. in Economics, and an MBA with distinction in Accounting and Finance. She completed the Advanced Management Program at IESE and several executive courses at INSEAD, IMD, Harvard Business School and at Nyenrode Business University. Since 2015 is also undertaking Ph.D. studies at ISM.
