Prior to stepping up and launching Goji, Jake advised some of the largest UK P2P lending platforms during his five years as an adviser at Grant Thornton, the global advisory firm. This work included IPOs and strategic and regulatory reviews for some of the biggest names in the fintech and wealth management sectors. These included Woodford Investment Management’s £800m IPO, the sale of Intelliflo to Hg and the sale of GoCompare.com.

Brian Bartaby is the CEO and founder of Proplend, a Peer to Peer lending platform specialising in the sub-£5m commercial real estate debt market. In 2003 Brian founded Longcross Capital, a firm specialising in providing financial solutions for real estate investors and developers. He spent 12 years successfully structuring funding deals to meet his clients ever changing requirements, which ultimately led him to develop the Proplend platform. Prior to property finance he spent 13 years working in London, NY and HK managing FX and Options trading desks where he developed a solid understanding of risk.

Since launching britishairways.com in 1994, Julia has led a series of start ups in the digital and environmental sectors, and invested a combination of her time and money in a portfolio of sustainable businesses.

Julia co-founded the UK Crowdfunding Association in 2012, was CEO of a p2b lending platform for four years and is now a partner at Downing LLP, leading the crowdfunding business www.downingcrowd.co.uk, offering asset-backed bonds to retail investors.

She has been instrumental in reforming regulation for crowd investors, and in the creation of the new Innovative Finance ISA. She is a member of Innovate 50 in the UK, recently completed a two year Non Executive Director role at Move Your Money and is a senior fellow of the Finance Lab.

He's spent his career in data driven, customer centric growth, initially at Capital One, before heading to Spain for a direct banking start up. He then spent 7 years at the global management consulting firm Oliver Wyman.
