That’s all changing. CreditSquare – a debt advisor specializing in the business-based alternative finance space – has just unveiled the first independently compiled UK SME Credit Index series. The Index has been constructed off the back of data gathered from a number of industry surveys, official statistics and market data. The blend of this weight of information makes up a quarterly diffusion index series that traces the supply of and demand for credit amongst UK SMEs.
