Fluro is strengthening its leadership with a number of new hires in its leadership team.

After a strong 12 months of growth – the team has grown by more than 84 per cent with 36 new hires – the consumer lender has added two new hires and publicly disclosed another two today.

Jenny Steven and Jason de Carvalho have recently joined the lender as general counsel, and chief technology officer respectively.

Graham Dodds became the new chief product officer last year alongside Tommy Fennelly, who took on the role of head of data science.

“We have reached a critical juncture in Fluro’s journey, with a refreshed strategy and big ambitions for the future,” Fluro co-founder and CEO Nick Harding said.

“By hiring talented leaders in their respective fields, we are in the strongest possible position to deliver against our strategy,” he added.

Steven has spent 10 years advising growth fintechs, previously as regulatory consulting director for law firm Hogan Lovells.

de Carvalho spent more than 11 years at Ocado Technology and will now lead the development of Fluro’s loans platform.

Dodds was previously at TSB Bank for more than eight years, where he was most recently head of loans, responsible for the company’s unsecured personal loan business.

Fennelly joined Fluro after almost 10 years at IBM where he was a senior strategic analytics consultant.

Together the four members of the leadership team will help the firm as it aims to be the “partner of choice” for companies building an embedded lending offer, it said.
