Revolut launching ‘Rev-celerator’ paid internship scheme in 2023
Head of comms says the scheme will “not be for the faint hearted”.

Digital banking unicorn Revolut is inviting students to “help us conquer the fintech universe”, as it launches a paid internship and one-year grad scheme next year.
The ‘Rev-celerator’ internship is running for three months during Summer 2023 and is aimed at top university students in their penultimate year of study.
For 10 lucky students, the internship will kick off with a ‘bootcamp’ at Revolut’s London HQ involving workshops, lectures and practical exercises, before they’re invited to join a team at Revolut for on-the-job training.
“Rev-celerator will not be for the faint hearted,” wrote Revolut’s head of corporate communications, Michael Bodansky, on LinkedIn.
“Candidates will work alongside some of the brightest and most ambitious minds in Fintech, with an expectation to deliver from day one. The successful few will kick-start their career in a fast-moving and constantly changing industry.”
Teams accepting interns are Revolut’s Software Engineering, Product Design, and Global Affairs teams, with the three-month pay described to AltFi as “competitive”.
Neither Monzo nor Starling Bank currently offers an internship programme (although Starling does support paid internship placements within teams) making Revolut among the first of the ‘big three’ to offer such a wide-ranging scheme.
The most successful interns will be invited to join Revolut’s newly-launched graduate scheme once they complete their studies, starting in 2024.
Revolut’s grad scheme will last a year and see those former interns developing their skills within the teams that they interned with.
Across both its internship and grad scheme Revolut says it will have a buddy support system as well as a coaching programme in place to support both students and graduates.
