Revolut launching ‘ultra’ new premium subscription plan with 5% cashback

Neobanking challenger Revolut is set to launch a new top-tier premium subscription plan dubbed “Ultra” by spring 2023.

Revolut was a pioneer, in neo banking terms, in charging customers for premium services. It currently offers three paid tiers. Plus is £2.99 per month, Premium is  £6.99 per month and Metal is £12.99. 

No price is yet forthcoming but Ultra is set to sit atop these three existing plans, with benefits including 5 per cent cashback in the first month of joining. 

Ultra is currently operating with a waitlist with only “spring 2023” set as a launch date in the UK, Revolut’s largest market.

Only those on the waitlist who take out the plan will be set to receive the cashback offer. 

According to a tweet from Revolut, the plan will include a variety of benefits including those focused on travel and investing.
