Patrick Tuttle will join Aussie SME lender GetCapital's board
GetCapital appoints former Pepper Group boss to its board.
Sydney-based online SME lender GetCapital has tapped former Pepper Group CEO Patrick Tuttle to take a seat on its board.
Mr Tuttle’s appointment, GetCapital said in a statement, comes as the company prepares for the “next phase” of its expansion after record growth the past 12 months.
“Patrick is one of the few individuals in Australia who has helped lead the transformation of a niche lending business into a large scale, global financial services firm. I’m really excited to have the benefit of Pat’s experience and knowledge,” said Jamie Osborn, GetCapital’s CEO.
Mr Tuttle was at Pepper for over 15 years and helped drive its international expansion and listing on the Australian Stock Exchange. Pepper is a debt service and home loan specialist, bought out by private equity giant Kohlberg Kravis Roberts this year for around A$650 million.
“GetCapital has demonstrated over the last few years that their innovative approach to SME lending resonates strongly with partners, intermediaries and customers alike,” Mr Tuttle said.
“The business is now well positioned to scale and I’m looking forward to working with the management team to help them achieve their future growth ambitions”.
GetCapital has over 70 employees and offers a range of loans – including invoice funding, property-secured, and equipment finance – to SMEs in Australia. It has consistently featured in shortlists of the fastest growing small businesses in Australia.
