The head of the alternative credit specialist fund has been buying its stock steadily over the past year.
Richard Levy, a director of the £351m VPC Specialty Lending Investments, and CEO of its investment manager has increased his holding in the fund by £60k.
The manager bought 69,954 shares at £0.808 equating to £57k. Levy bought a very similar amount of the stock back in July of last year.
The VPC Specialty Lending Investments trust is one of the largest listed on the London stock market that is specially targeted at the nascent alternative credit space.
It initially bought tranches of P2P and other marketplace originated loans but has increasingly focused on balance sheet lending platforms.
VPC has also been beefing up its top credit team, hiring an Ex-Cerberus Capital exec as head of capital markets recently and a former Capital One exec as chief risk officer.
