Smart money app Yolt said it has completed the rollout of its services in Italy and France, as it bids to become a pan-European platform.

It said that iOS and Android users in these regions from today, will be able to download the open beta application free of charge from the App Store and Play Store. The app already has more than half a million users in the UK.

Yolt allows customers to view their current accounts, credit cards bills, pensions payments and investments in a single app, making banking easier.

Chief executive Frank Jan Risseeuw said “helpful feedback, suggestions and ideas have allowed us to tweak Yolt and make it available for everyone across all three markets”.

The service, launched by Dutch financial giant ING in 2016, added that “users can expect to see further banking connections and innovative features added to the platform during the year”.

Earlier this month, the firm revealed it was testing a new feature called Yolt Pay, which will allow users to send money to friends and family.
