The tech sector has gone through something of a readjustment period following some significant layoffs earlier this year, but the escalation of AI and machine learning means that demand for specialised tech skills continues to rise.
Full-stack developers, for example, remain in high demand. With an average starting salary of £57k rising to £150k-plus, those with a proven track record of working as a full-stack developer are well placed to switch jobs.

Senior Full-Stack Developer, Citi, London
This role is based with Citi’s London Innovation Lab and will focus on Document Master Central, its strategic document management system which was developed in-house and serves clients across the global bank. You should be as comfortable polishing your Javascript front end as you are debugging the innards of Java applications database interactions, or tweaking CloudFormation templates.
