One of Europe’s youngest-ever female VC partners.
Evgenia Plotnikova has been promoted by Dawn Capital to become one of Europe’s youngest ever female VC partners.
The investor, who spoke at AltFi’s 2019 London Summit in March, has made investments including into SME banking service Soldo and enterprise AI group Dataiku in her previous role as Principal.
Plotnikova, 32, joins Dawn’s General Partners Joshua Bell, Norman Fiore and Haakon Overli as the VC’s first non-founding partner, and first female partner.
Her first investment at Dawn in enterprise AI startup Dataiku was just valued at $1.4bn after a recent funding round.
“Evgenia has made a significant impact since joining last year,” said Dawn’s Overli. “She has led some of our biggest investments, and has already built great relationships with both our founders and investors.”
“We pride ourselves on being able to spot the B2B tech champions of tomorrow and Evgenia has a great eye for them. She’s a real leader and we know the best is yet to come.”
