It’s our pleasure to announce the first cohort of speakers for the AltFi London Summit 2020 this morning.

The star-studded lineup includes the CEOs of multi-million-pound fintechs, and leaders of among the most promising upstarts.

Among those announced to be speaking at the AltFi London Summit on 18 May are:

Charles Delingpole, CEO ComplyAdvantage

A serial entrepreneur, Charles founded ComplyAdvantage as his third startup, having already set up The Student Room Group at 16 and co-founded MarketInvoice (now MarketFinance) at 27.

Today he’s focused on wiping out financial crime using Machine Learning and as CEO leads the product development and growth of the company. ComplyAdvantage is now firmly in growth mode, having opened up offices in New York and Singapore, and with the recent appointment of a new COO/CFO.

At AltFi’s London Summit he’ll be taking on the next decade of disruption in a unique fireside chat.

Marieke Flament, CEO Mettle

Marieke is the newly-appointed CEO of business challenger bank Mettle, leading RBS in its drive to build innovative new banking providers.

Previously European Managing Director and CMO of Circle, Marieke has 15 years of experience with consumer and tech, and is now putting this towards helping SMEs access financial services.

At AltFi’s London Summit she’ll be tackling the topic of cracking the SME opportunity on a panel with fellow banking leaders.

Daniel Hegarty, CEO Habito

Daniel founded Habito as a free online mortgage broker in 2015, a startup that is today expanding its scope to include Habito’s own innovative mortgage products.

Last year that journey began with a unique mortgage cash advance, to help customers pick up property faster than a traditional mortgage buyer, and is set to continue with more products soon.

At AltFi’s London Summit he’ll be exploring the combination of Open Banking technologies with unique lending products on a panel with fellow lenders.

Anne Boden, CEO Starling Bank

An architect of the digital banking revolution, Anne founded Starling Bank in 2014 and is today expanding its reach both internationally and into new sectors like business banking, banking-as-a-service and in-house business loans.

With a million customers and profitability now on the horizon for 2020, it’s set to be a busy year for this financial services supremo.

At AltFi’s London Summit she’ll be future-gazing with fellow leaders on what digital finance will look like in 2030.

Further speakers will be revealed in the coming weeks...
