Financial services consultancy 11:FS this morning announced the appointment of a new director to its research team, recruiting former Forrester VP Benjamin Ensor.

11:FS offers a range of research services including quantitative and qualitative surveys, interviews and user sessions, with research led by Ryan Garner and analysis by Sarah Kocianski.

Ensor, a veteran of Forrester Research where he spent two decades as a senior analyst, vice president and research director, will be tasked with scaling up 11:FS’s research service and introducing new products.

“I’ve been impressed by the sophistication of the multi-disciplinary 11:FS approach to research and how it is deeply embedded into all of the client thinking and proposition development. To come in and help build on the great work Ryan and Sarah’s teams are delivering to 11:FS clients is exciting,” said Ensor.

At Forrester he helped leading financial services groups in exploring: “changing customer behaviour, changing market dynamics and the impact of digital technology on business strategy in financial services.”

Earlier this month 11:FS hired former Thought Machine interim-CFO Jo Wright as its new chief financial officer.

Last year the consultancy extended its £3m fundraise from Norweigian financial giant DNB and signed a partnership to start building new loan products for DNB.
