Monese launches desktop version of its banking platform
The UK-based banking service is one of the first to roll out a web version of its app.
Challenger banking app Monese has today announced the launch of its very own web platform.
‘Monese for web’ is one of the first desktop platforms from a digital banking provider and is available for all customers from today.
Monese customers will be able to view their balance, browse transactions and download statements.
The new system also has popular features from Monese’s app, such as Privacy Mode, which instantly hides transaction amounts and balances to the viewer meaning customers can delay looking at their funds for a little while longer.
Monese’s web platform requires a two-factor authentication process on the first log in as users will have to use the app to securely log onto the web platform.
Norris Koppel, CEO and founder of Monese, told AltFi: “While the majority of our customers enjoy accessing their multi-currency accounts using their mobile, we rolled out the web version of Monese in response to growing demand.”
“It complements our mobile offering - is easy to navigate and provides plenty of tools to manage your account and expenses. We’re working on adding more features, this is a sneak peek of what’s to come," he added.
