European private equity and alternative investment platform Moonfare has launched a fund offering investors and wealth managers access to investments in US tech firms.
The fund, which currently has over $7bn in capital commitments, will target late-stage startup companies in the US.
Doctor Steffan Pauls, CEO at Moonfare, said: "These funds present some of the most exciting market opportunities worldwide, offering access to rapidly growing underlying private companies, which have historically included the likes of Google, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft."
Moonfare says its investment platform has over 5,000 active users, which have invested over $280m, and that investors can get up and running in 15 minutes.
Headquartered in Berlin, Moonfare works with investors based in the UK, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Hong Kong.
