The fintech says it has now signed up 500,000 business customers.
Revolut is launching its fee-charging premium metal card for business customers, on the back of signing up 500,000 business customers.
The metal card is already available to Revolut’s non-business customers.
From today (5 October), it will now be available to business customers.
Revolut says the metal cards are “crafted from a single sheet of reinforced steel”. They are available for business customers in five colours.
The metal cards are exclusive to those on Revolut’s paid plans, which include benefits such as foreign exchange allowances, as well as various business tools and subscriptions.
The first metal cards are limited to businesses on company plans, though freelancers will be granted access to metal cards in the future, Revolut said.
Vaidas Adomauskas, head of Revolut business said: “Metal cards have been among Revolut Business’ most requested features. We’re so excited to have businesses around the world using these stand-out cards. But, more than that, we’re proud that these cards are backed by the very best of Revolut Business – powerful, personalised tools that give businesses ultimate control over their finances.”
Revolut launched its business arm in 2017 across the UK and Europe. It offers a number of business accounts, including one which is free of charge and others which charge £25 and £100 a month.
