Revolut’s UK customers can now earn points by completing challenges when using their app or card and enter into a prize draw to win a slice of £250,000 over the next four weeks.

Customers will be enrolled in the prize draw by earning points, with thousands of users getting the chance to win cash prizes, from between £1 and £1,000 every Thursday.

Points can be earned by customers doing tasks such as making transactions, sending money to another Revolut user, referring friends, setting up a savings ‘vault’ and more. The more a customer uses Revolut, the more points they will earn.

“We want to dedicate this big initiative to our customers for their support over the past year. Since the very beginning of our journey, Revolut’s goal has been to allow people to get more from their money,” Vishaal Vadher, senior product owner at Revolut said.

“Points is another step in that direction. We want our customers to be rewarded for choosing Revolut as their everyday financial partner and to have the chance to win great prizes while they already benefit from many other innovative features.”

Revolut Points are available to all UK users from today, with Premium and Metal customers getting 1.5x and 2x the number of points respectively.

The latest market push comes as Revolut is moving increasingly towards creating a digital banking ‘super app’.

In May 2021, Revolut added an invoice tool, enabling its users to send professional invoices simply from their Revolut Business account.

Just before it announced the addition of the invoice tool, Revolut added FX forwards for its business customers here in the UK.

Business users can now set future exchange rates online, at any time, and are able to get a fixed FX rate for a set amount and date in the future through the Revolut Business web app.

The fintech has been adding new features to its ‘super app’ as of late for both its business and regular customers.

The fintech also launched a new web extension to help its users save while they shop online and expanded its cryptocurrency offering thanks to an integration with Elliptic’s cryptocurrency compliance tools.

AltFi also exclusively revealed that Revolut would soon allow paying Metal customers to get beta access to transfer their Bitcoin holdings out of its app.
