Tilen Chetty and Dan Gaskin will bring a wealth of experience of the Australian open banking market with them.
The open banking fintech has hired Tilen Chetty as product lead and Dan Gaskin as lead engineer, with the two new hires working in Sydney and Melbourne respectively.
At TrueLayer, the new hires will be responsible for leading the Australian product and technical capabilities, as well as ensuring TrueLayer complies with the Consumer Data Right (CDR), a similar piece of legislation to PSD2 here in the UK and Europe.
“Having implemented the Consumer Data Standards on the data holder side of the CDR, I’m excited to have the additional opportunity to work on the data recipient side,” Gaskin said.
Chetty and Gaskin will be working alongside TrueLayer’s CPO Ossama Soliman, who joined from Amazon late last year, VP of engineering Ben Foster, who joined from Checkout.com in February and head of Australia Brenton Charnley, who joined the fintech in October 2020.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Dan and Tilen to TrueLayer to lead our product development in data and payments,” Charnley added.
“The combination of our local presence and capabilities, supercharged by TrueLayer’s international network, supports our competitive edge in the Australian market helping our local and global clients go to market with open banking and open up Australian finance,”
