The partnership will see all Triodos current account customers given access to untied.
Customers of sustainable bank Triodos now have access to tax app untied as part of a tie-up between the two companies.
Triodos Bank said it had agreed on the partnership to help its personal current account customers prepare for the upcoming tax season.
“This new partnership with untied gives our personal current account customers many more options when it comes to navigating their tax returns,” said Gareth Griffiths, head of retail banking at Triodos UK.
“We hope that services which utilise open banking, like untied, will bring opportunities to make administration much easier for our customers. It’s exciting to be combining sustainable banking with leading financial technology.”
untied is free for 30 days, but then costs £49 or £99/year depending on how complicated your taxes are.
With Triodos, customers get the ability to use untied, as well as connect their account to quickly import income and expenditure information, and perform a real-time calculation of what their annual tax bill will be.
untied CEO Kevin Sefton called Triodos: “an inspiring alternative for customers who want a more ethical focus from their banking provider.”
“We look forward to working with Triodos into the future and helping its customers get a better insight into their taxes."
