If you’re on the job hunt this side of Christmas, we want to do what we can to help. We know how busy this time of year can be, and trying to land a new job on top of everything could be overwhelming. So, we’ve put together a little list of some really great open roles for you to have a look at…

IT Hardware Support, Klarna

Klarna was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 2005. Since then they have changed the banking industry forever. And now they’re creating the world's smoothest shopping experience. They serve over 90 million consumers worldwide, and partner with 250,000 merchants – with a new merchant joining them every 8 minutes, including some of the world's leading brands, such as H&M, ASOS, IKEA, Adidas, Samsung and Lufthansa.

As an engineer in the Tech Delivery team you are part of designing the future state of the art digital workspace for Klarna. You will work in one of the cross regional teams spread across the whole world and together with your team you are responsible for the technical customer journey for all employees.

At Klarna they use the term Productivity to describe the portfolio of IT tools and services that enables Klarna employees to be as productive as possible. This is to emphasise that employee productivity itself is the goal rather than the systems and tools themselves.

Productivity Tech Delivery is the team where they handle on-boarding/off-boarding procedures, hardware catalogue design and asset management. The main goal is to provide excellent service to Klarnauts acting as a professional and friendly contact surface. You will reach the goal by understanding the user, acting calm and professional in stressful situations and having a wide rather than deep technical know-how.

Senior UX Writer, Experian

Experian is the world’s leading global information services company. During life’s big moments – from buying a home or a car, to sending a child to college, to growing a business by connecting with new customers – they empower consumers and clients to manage their data with confidence. They help individuals to take financial control and access financial services, businesses to make smarter decisions and thrive, lenders to lend more responsibly, and organisations to prevent identity fraud and crime.

They are looking for a UX writer with experience translating user behaviour into great content strategy and copy. They are looking for someone who loves finding creative ways to solve design challenges and improve the customer experience – with words.

Nowhere does the importance of strong, clear, consistent messaging matter more than when people are faced with difficult financial decisions. They need someone who can help bring creativity and clarity to every touchpoint - whether delighting with flourishes of micro-copy or breathing life into error messaging and legal disclaimers.

If you want to help people become more confident about their finances, then you have the opportunity to shape the next generation of consumer financial services that can make this happen. You will help to define and implement content strategy, shape and guide tone of voice on new and live products, research and test copy and contribute to a positive UX writing culture. Most of your work will be remote but you may need to occasionally visit either our London or Nottingham office.

Enterprise Architect, Metro Bank PLC

Metro Bank PLC believes that people come first, and that everyone deserves a great experience every step of the way - whether it’s face to face, through their telephony service, online, or on the app. They have built a different kind of high street bank. A bank with stores that are open when it suits you, 7 days a week. A bank where you can walk in without an appointment and walk out with a working account, debit card and all. A bank that tells you exactly what you’re getting, in language that actually makes sense. A bank that puts you first.

Enterprise Security Architecture is a key team within Metro Bank’s Enterprise Architecture Centre of Excellence, with a core purpose of safeguarding the bank and protecting their customers. Metro Bank’s products allow their customers to bank quickly, simply and securely, and to continue to support this they are seeking to expand their team. They are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Security Architect to lead their Enterprise Security Architecture team in the design of best-in class security solutions aligned with Metro Bank’s secure by design ethos. Your team will continue to support business innovation through the use of security as a business differentiator, underpinning the ongoing protection of our customers and the Metro Bank brand.
