Moneyhub snaps up two senior hires including NatWest exec

Moneyhub has recruited for the role of product owner, API and connections and product owner, platform clients.

Moneyhub, the open banking platform, has made two senior appointments, including recruiting a NatWest executive who managed one of its key digital assets.

Former NatWest executive Paul Tutton has taken on the role of product owner, API and connections at Moneyhub.

Another addition to the Moneyhub team sees Cath Walls, who previously worked at payments company lliad, join as product owner, platform clients.

In his new role, Tutton, who has also worked at Nokia and Microsoft, will be tasked with supporting Moneyhub’s current and prospective clients.

During his time at NatWest, Tutton managed the delivery of the bank's Bankline Commercial and Private Banking digital service offering.

Walls, meanwhile, will also have a client-facing role, “mapping product capabilities to bring client propositions to life”.

Tutton said: “I am looking forward to using my past experience to help Moneyhub’s clients utilise their data effectively in order to create personalised offers, products and services for their customers.”

Walls said: “My background as a developer means that I can take the problems facing clients and their customers and translate them into a personalised products.”

Last year, Moneyhub secured its biggest investment to date.

The fintech, which is headed up by CEO Samantha Seaton, raised $18m to help it fuel its expansion plans across Europe, with Peter Wood, founder of Direct Line and Esure, taking the lead on the  round.
