A dozen exchange traded funds (ETFs) are being added to Moneybox’s investment offering as it moves beyond just offering funds for its customers.

In a moved designed to offer “diversification rather than speculation” according to co-founder Ben Stanway, 12 popular ETFs including those targeting clean energy and cyber security are being added.

“We’ve introduced ETFs to provide even more choice for those who want to build diversified investment portfolios aligned to their personal interests and values,” said Moneybox co-founder Ben Stanway.

“With AUA continuing to grow 100% year on year, we are rapidly capturing the mass-market space and our customers increasingly demonstrate that they want to use Moneybox for all of their wealth-building needs throughout their lives.”

Among those being offered are Vanguard’s S&P 500 and FTSE 100 ETFs, seven BlackRock iShares ETFs, including Global Clean Energy, Automation & Robotics and Ageing Population, Legal & General’s Clean Water and Cyber Security ETFs and UBS S&P 500 ESG ETF.

The additions come as Moneybox says it has reached over £2.5bn in assets under administration from more than 750,000 customers.

Moneybox has also been expanding into new services including mortgages, with the recent appointment of Cecilia Mourain as its managing director of mortgages, and entered the pensions market in 2020.

“Our comprehensive product range is designed to help people succeed over the long term, offering the tools and information they need to confidently save and invest toward what matters to them in life,” added Stanway.
