Flagstone adds Meri Williams and Leda Glyptis to board, plans Series B

Flagstone says to the two appoints will increase the depth of experience on the board as well as reflecting a commitment “to ensure diversity of thought is encouraged”.

Cash deposits fintech Flagstone, which counts Allica Bank and Revolut among its customers, has appointed Leda Glyptis and Meri Williams to its board of directors. 

Flagstone offers companies, charities, financial advisers and individuals access to hundreds of accounts from up to 50 banks – including high street names and challenger banks. This allows money to be moved quickly in search of the best interest rate.

It currently has £10bn in client assets deposited. 

Glyptis is Chief Client Officer at 10x, a cloud-native core banking provider. Previously she was the founding CEO of 11:FS Foundry as well having held senior roles at Qatar National Bank, consulting firm Sapient and BNY Mellon.

Meri Williams was Monzo’s Chief Technology Officer from 2018 to 2020. Williams was also CTO at MOO, Proctor and Gamble and more recently Healx. She’s also a trustee at Stonewall, the UK’s leading LGBTQ+ rights charity.

Flagstone, which launch in 2013, raised £12m in 2020 in a round led by Omers Ventures. 

Previous to this it raised £11m in funding round from backers including Kindred Capital, Moneysupermarket Group plc, VentureFounders and a number of angel investors.
