Revolut is accelerating its global expansion with the help of financial infrastructure platform Stripe.

The global financial super app will facilitate payments through Stripe’s infrastructure, starting in Europe and the UK before entering Brazil, Mexico and “other” new markets.

With the help of Stripe,Revolut will offer its customers a “seamless payment experience” that matches their local payment preferences, it said.

Revolut and Stripe share an ambition to upgrade financial services globally,” Stripe EMEA revenue and growth lead Eileen O’Mara said.

“We’re thrilled to be powering Revolut as it builds, scales, and helps people around the world get more from their money.”

Stripe and Revolut will also look into more opportunities to further collaborate and deliver new payments products down the line, they said.

Revolut builds seamless solutions for its customers. That means access to quick and easy payments, and our collaboration with Stripe facilitates that,” Revolut vice president of business development David Tirado said.

“We share a common vision and are excited to collaborate across multiple areas, from leveraging Stripe’s infrastructure to accelerate our global expansion to exploring innovative new products for Revolut’s more than 18 million customers.”

The collaboration comes on a wave of new moves for Revolut.

It just launched in stores for the first time with physical card readers, recently entered the ‘buy now, pay later’ space, and partnered with open banking platformTink last month.
