The fintech launches its largest marketing campaign to date.
Digital banking app Revolut is today launching a new UK advertising campaign called ‘Your Way In’ across TV, podcasts, billboards and more across the country.
The launch coincides with Revolut passing its 5 millionth UK customer milestone, a figure reached just seven years after the fintech launched.
Revolut’s new advertising campaign is aimed at showing off how its features are helping money underdogs access wealth and power, with a focus on the fintech’s crypto and stock trading services.
Its TV ad was directed by Craig Gillespie, the filmmaker behind films including I, Tonya and Cruella, and shows how ordinary people are literally ‘breaking’ into new areas of finance.
“We’re delighted to share a campaign that speaks to the money underdog. The most rewarding opportunities in money have not been available to most of us. They’ve been too expensive, too complicated or too difficult for us all to access. Revolut changes all of that,” said Revolut’s global head of integrated media, Quentin Luce.
“As we celebrate reaching 5 million customers in the UK, we want to empower more people to do things they haven’t been able to before, and invite them into a club that’s open to all.”
The campaign is launching today, including an 8pm premiere of the TV ad during Coronation Street, and will run until the end of October.
Billboards are already going up around London, including spots such as Old Street roundabout and Waterloo Station.
