Tide introduces higher-priced Tide Pro plan with unlimited transfers

Banking provider Tide is rolling out a new subscription for its SME customers today with the launch of its Pro plan, a £18.99/month (plus VAT) tier that includes unlimited payments and transfers.

The new plan is aimed at scaling businesses that require more than the 20 free payments and transfers that are included in its regular Plus plan (£9.99/month + VAT).

Additional transfers on its Plus and Free plans are charged at 0.20p/transfer, so for SMEs making 65+ payments or transfers each month, it’s now cheaper to upgrade to Tide’s new Pro plan.

“Tide recognises that as small to medium-sized businesses scale business owners’ needs change,” said Heather Cobb, SVP of engagement marketing at Tide.

“Tide’s new Pro Plan is a solution for these businesses by offering unlimited free transfers, priority support, and other benefits, such as legal support tailored to their needs.”

The only other additional feature offered by Tide Pro is 2 free team member Tide cards, as opposed to the 1 included with Tide Plus (with extra cards charged at £5/month).

It’s great to see Tide rolling out new features and services in the UK, and not being too distracted by its ongoing launch in India, where it plans to hire 1,000 employees and invest £100m over the next five years.
