Plum and Bitpanda launch crypto partnership

Plum is giving customers access to crypto trading via an integration with the digital infrastructure platform provided and operated by Bitpanda.

Savings and investment app Plum has launched crypto trading through an integration with Bitpanda.

Founded in 2016 by founded by Victor Trokoudes and Alex Michael, Plum has expanded its money management app services in recent months with an increasing focus on savings and investment with the launch of commission free stock trading in May.

The launch of crypto further reflects rising investor demand across Europe crypto trading, according to a media release from the company. 

 “It’s our ambition to provide access to a broad range of assets for our customers so they can properly diversify their investment portfolios and support their growth over the long-term,” said Victor Trokoudes, CEO and co-founder of Plum. 

“We have a shared mission of a more accessible and informative financial system that helps people get the most from their money.” 

Bitpanda has expanded its strategy in recent years to offer a B2B service as well as its direct-to-consumer app through its API-based crypto infrastructure.
