Innovate Finance launches startup academy for founders and CEOs
Made for early and mid-stage CEOs, founders and leaders, the new academy will provide support for the UK's fintech ecosystem to grow.

Calling all early and mid-stage founders and CEOs: Innovate Finance is launching a new startup academy.
The industry body representing UK fintech is launching the programme, which will include practical workshops, peer networking roundtables and investor meetups specifically for startup and scale-up members and their senior teams.
Launching next month, the new ‘Startup Academy’ is designed to support the early and mid-stage community of founders, CEO and fintech leaders in their growth journey.
Include a range of support, including both in-person and online events full of industry insights and practical knowledge and support, and focus on key business areas including investment, talent, marketing and partnerships.
There will also be help for early-stage companies and founders – which Innovate Finance CEO Janine Hirt described as the “heart” of the UK’s fintech ecosystem – to broaden their connections across the fintech landscape.
“If the UK is to continue as the global leader in fintech, we all must work together to support these early-stage founders and provide them with the tools, insight and connections necessary to thrive, as they will be the high growths and unicorns of the future,” Hirt said.
“These next-generation companies will play a key role in shaping the next chapter of financial services, at a time when it is perhaps more important than ever before to ensure we create a sector that is more democratic, more sustainable and more inclusive.“
Regular sessions for the startup academy will begin in November, including workshops, c-suite roundtables and investor meetups.
The first event listed currently is a CMO roundtable towards the end of the month, followed by a marketing workshop and a startups meet investors session.
