Cynergy Bank hires four new executives
Sharon Maguire, John Tudor, Martin Fent and Rana Bhattacharya have joined Cynergy Bank’s executive team.
Cynergy Bank has made four new senior appointments to bolster its executive team.
The new hires fall in line with the bank’s strategy to move to a “front-line structure” of property, trading businesses and private banking.
The new hires are Sharon Maguire, chief product and brand officer and MD of private banking, John Tudor, corporate development director, Martin Fent, chief risk officer and Rana Bhattacharya, chief digital and information officer.
“The structural changes announced reflect our evolving strategy and our growth ambitions well beyond 2022,” Cynergy Bank CEO Nick Fahy said.
“Embracing digital innovation while deploying the human personal relationships remains a core part of our vision.”
Maguire was previously chief customer officer at C. Hoare & Co where she was responsible for the management of all products and services, customer propositions, brand, marketing, and customer analytics.
She has also spent several years in emerging markets in the Middle East.
Tudor joins the bank from Bank of Ireland Group, where he worked for more than 22 years in a range of executive roles, most recently as partnership director and chief operating officer for the UK business.
After more than 15 years at the Royal Bank of Scotland, most recently as chief risk officer at RBS International, Fent is taking on the same role at Cynergy.
He previously held a number of risk management roles, spanning credit risk, conduct risk, portfolio management and restructuring.
Lastly, Bhattacharya is joining the bank from Tesco Bank, having previously held roles at Atom Bank,Accenture and Nationwide Building Society.
Bhattacharya brings a range of experience in leading transformations of IT to the role of chief digital and information officer.
