ClearScore hires new group CFO
Brian Cole takes over from ex-CFO Grant Foley who left ClearScore over the summer to take up the same position at shipbroker Braemar.

ClearScore has appointed Brian Cole as its new group chief financial officer (CFO).
Cole is a veteran financial services exec, who previously held senior roles at the likes of Visa and Capital One, where he was CFO, as well being the CEO of the UK Barclaycard consumer card business for two years from 2016 to 2018.
“I am thrilled that Brian has decided to join us at this exciting time in our journey to becoming a globally recognised, diversified, online marketplace business helping people improve their financial well-being,” said ClearScore’s CEO and cofounder Justin Basini said.
“He has a strong track record in international leadership, delivering robust financial results in scaled and scaling businesses where driving growth and operational leverage are critical. We welcome him to the team,” he added.
ClearScore launched in 2015 in the UK but is now live in South Africa, Australia, Canada and New Zealand too. It counts 20 million global users.
“I am very excited to be joining The ClearScore Group at a time when it has expanded globally as well as diversified into open banking services and adjacent verticals. I look forward to working with Justin and the team in delivering ClearScore’s mission of making personal finance clearer, calmer and easier to understand at scale around the world," Cole said.
