Exclusive: Crowdcube partners with SeedLegals to boost EIS investment
Crowdcube is working on a number of new product integrations to make it easier for founders to raise cash from retail investors.

Crowdcube has partnered with legal tech platform SeedLegals to streamline processes for founders looking to raise money.
With an investor community now at 1.3 million, Crowdcube now wants to make it easier for founders to access the UK’s generous Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS ).
The partnership, the two companies say, will make it easier and quicker for companies to tap retail investors for cash.
More specifically this will mean improvements to finding investors, completing fundraising legals quickly, raising ahead of rounds and topping up an existing round.
Multiple investors will also now be able to be ‘rolled up’ into a single line on company cap tables too.
“By combining Crowdcube's expertise in facilitating both primary and secondary investment rounds through our proprietary shareholder management tool with SeedLegals' innovative legal technology, we are delivering a superior solution for founders and investors alike,” said Matt Cooper, Co-CEO of Crowdcube.
Anthony Rose, CEO and co-founder of SeedLegals say there is a clear trend in recent years of founders wanting to mix and match VC, angel and retail investments.
“The partnership reflects our shared goals of simplifying fundraising and empowering entrepreneurs and investors,” he said.
