Fintech lender Silvr lands €230m credit facility
Silvr’s new cash comes via a deal with alternative investment fund manager Channel and banking giant Citi.

Silvr, a lender to European SMEs and entrepreneurs, has landed a €230m funding deal with Channel and Citi.
The new securitised facility comes one years after the lender, which launched in 2020, raised its first debt facility for €100m. It will be backed by SME loans originated by Silvr.
The Paris-headquartered firm, which has deployed more than €150m to “several hundred” businesses, is rapidly expanding across Europe. It opened an office in Berlin in November 2022 with the new cash aimed at consolidating its European expansion.
"We are delighted to be able to meet a growing demand for loans, which has increased significantly across Europe, after securing this securitised credit facility from Channel and Citi” said Nima Karimi, co-founder and CEO of Silvr.
“By proving more flexible options, tailored to their needs, Silvr is uniquely positioned to make it easier for European SMEs to access the funding they need to grow,” Karimi added.
