Jifiti lands EMI license in Europe

The EMI license will mean Jifiti can broader its range of payment products and services to banks and lenders

Embedded lender Jifiti has landed an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license in Europe.

Jifiti, which is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, and has offices in Sweden and Israel, offers a white-labeled solution to banks, regulated lenders and other financial service providers. 

The new license, awarded in Sweden, will help the company broaden its range of payment products and services to banks and lenders.

“Our mission at Jifiti is to provide consumers and businesses with access to responsible, affordable financing options from regulated financial entities. Becoming a licensed e-money issuer takes our company to the next level in its growth trajectory and enables us to bring even more value to our customers and partners, ” Yaacov Martin, CEO of the Jifiti Group said.

Jifiti’s platform includes instalment loans, lines of credit, split payments and business financing as well as BNPL.
