Klarna partners with Form3 to boost European payments
Form3 will provide SEPA connectivity to Klarna’s 150 million customers

Klarna is partnering with cloud-native account-to-account platform Form3 to support its European payments.
Form3 is partnering with the AI-powered payments giant and shopping assistant to bolster its European customer offering with Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) connectivity for its more than 500,000 merchants and 150 million active customers.
Form3 will provide Klarna with direct technical access to STEP2 and RT1 through its single API account-to-account platform, enabling the company to process payments directly.
“This partnership holds the potential to drive efficiency gains, cost savings, and ultimately improve the overall experience for our customers and merchants in Europe,” Klarna head of banking Felix Würtenberger said.
Form3 will process and manage both inbound and outbound SEPA payments on its platform, automating manual payment processes including returns, recalls and refunds.
The company says its technology will also future-proof Klarna against future regulatory changes, ensuring it stays ahead of incoming mandates.
The partnership comes as part of a wider international growth strategy for Form3.
“Providing SEPA connectivity to Klarna, one of the biggest, most technically-advanced fintechs in the world, further demonstrates Form3’s ability to process payments at scale, as this becomes critical for market leaders,” Form3 CEO Mike Walters said.
“This partnership also reinforces the ongoing trend in Europe for more organisations to connect directly to payment schemes to improve resilience and their end customers’ experience.”
