Lydia partners with insurtech Qover to offer premium travel insurance
The French fintech is aiming to “redefine” how consumers use insurance with a seamlessly embedded solution

Mobile banking app Lydia is partnering with insurtech Qover to offer “user-centric” travel insurance for its premium cardholders.
The French fintech focused on creating a “seamless experience” for its ‘Black+’ users in Belgium, France, Portugal and Spain, with Qover’s embedded insurance platform powering the program.
According to Qover, the collaboration is redefining the way users engage with insurance, with features including in-app claims submission and automated travel certification generation.
“We invest significantly in acquiring and maintaining our user base, and aligning insurance experiences with our high standards is key,” Lydia co-founder and CEO Cyril Chiche said.
“Qover's platform capabilities and transparent insights into claims data and program performance empower us to enhance user benefits.”
The new travel insurance also extends beyond cardholders to include family members, adding to the intended seamless user experience.
“From the outset, it was evident that Lydia had exceptionally high standards. Strict service level agreements were a prime example,” Qover co-founder and CEO Quentin Colmant said.
“This was perfectly suited for Qover, where delivering such quality of service and customer satisfaction is inherent to our DNA.”
