Mondu partners with Mangopay to launch B2B BNPL
The two fintechs are bringing flexible payments infrastructure and terms to B2B marketplace businesses
Mangopay and Mondu are partnering to offer buy now, pay later to B2Bs.
B2B payments company Mondu will offer flexible payments options with Mangopay’s modular and flexible payment infrastructure, supporting B2B marketplace businesses.
Together the two companies will offer marketplaces in Europe a payments infrastructure that can be tailored to their specific needs, with flexible payment terms and a range of payment methods.
“Mondu and Mangopay are completely aligned in our vision to simplify the payments process for marketplaces and empower the end customer to purchase and pay how and when they want,” Mondu co-founder and co-CEO Malte Huffmann said.
“Payments play a key role in creating a seamless customer experience, and it’s through this that B2B marketplaces can grow sales volume through improved conversion rates and higher order values, helping to drive business growth.”
The B2B marketplace industry has reportedly grown by 8.6 times since 2015, with the payment experience playing a key role in business growth.
The companies say they aim to empower B2B marketplaces by providing them with tools and a choice of payment methods to flexibility manage their payments.
“At Mangopay we’re committed to finding new and innovative ways to help our platform customers create and operate payments infrastructures that will help their businesses to scale,” Mangopay chief revenue officer Luke Trayfoot said.
“Partners such as Mondu are an important part of our strategy, and collaborations like this further strengthen our proposition for B2B marketplaces and platforms.”
Founded in Germany in 2021, Mondu first launched with a BNPL B2B solution and has since expanded to Austria, the Netherlands and the UK.
Mangopay was founded in 2013 and has supported more than 2,500 platforms and marketplaces with a programmable e-wallet solution and end-to-end payment infrastructure.
