Currensea has created a money-saving travel debit card which offers card users savings of at least 85 per cent on every overseas transaction as they avoid the normal fees charged by banks and other card providers — the lowest rate on the market.

Thanks to its use of open banking technology, Currensea’s debit card works with your existing banking account so you don’t need to worry about inconvenient prepaid cards and different currency accounts.

Founded in 2018 by Barclays and JPMorgan alumni James Lynn and Craig Goulding, Currensea become the world’s first Card Based Payment Instrument Issuer (CBPII), and launched its consumer and business propositions in 2020.
