RAIZE (www.raize.pt) is Portugal’s largest peer-to- peer lender focusing on SME lending. The online lender operates its own payments institution licensed and regulated by the Bank of Portugal and currently has more than 13,000 investors lending to SMEs. The platform recently signed a strategic partnership with online bank BNI Europa to invest €10M in Portuguese SMEs. The platform expects to lend more than €20 million in 2018.
