AltFi Australasia Summit 2019

Monday 15 April 2019

The Future of Lending in Australia

Join AltFi at their fourth annual Australasia Summit to examine “The Future of Lending in Australia”. Each year this event draws together some of the major global and Australian thought leaders to discuss the impact of technology on lending and the emergence of online and non-bank lending.

Without doubt 2019 will prove to be a pivotal year for the Australian financial industry as it grapples with the recently released Banking Royal Commission recommendations, a growing distrust in the manner of traditional lending, coupled with the uncertainty that a change of Federal Government can bring.

Banks are attempting to compete with a burgeoning fintech scene, but also the arrival of Apple Pay, Google and Amazon Loans. Could this be the moment when consumers and businesses start to rely on the Australian fintechs, Challenger Banks and Alternative Finance providers for more digital solutions and access to finance?

Be a part of the Australian lending community as we discuss this and much, much more. The event will be held on the Monday the 15th April at the unique Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour's Pyrmont, for the AltFi Australasia Summit 2019.
