Aiga Senftleben founded the fintech Billie in 2016 together with Christian Grobe and Matthias Knecht.
Billie is the leading provider of “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) payment methods for businesses and offers innovative digital payment services for B2B. Previously, she led the legal departments of Funding Circle Europe and Zencap as general counsel. Following her career at a major law firm, Senftleben has also worked for well-known companies such as Paypal and eBay.
As a licensed attorney, she is responsible for the Legal and Compliance and People departments at Billie.
Professionally, Aiga Senftleben deals with the regulation of start-ups, the financial location and the digitalization gap in Germany, as well as female leadership and equal rights in companies. In her private life, she enjoys sports, yoga, city trips and music.
