International Product Manager
Albert Malikov is the International Product Manager for Plaid, a data network powering the fintech ecosystem. In his role, Albert leads strategy and development for Plaid's suite of open banking products in the UK and Europe. Albert joined Plaid from Uber where he was a Product Manager at Uber Money where he led the development of several fintech products at Uber Money across San Francisco and Amsterdam. During his time at Uber, Albert managed the insurance product team to provide affordable ridesharing policies to drivers. In addition, he helped grow the company’s Amsterdam tech team from 10 to 150+ people in less than four years. Prior to Uber, Albert co-founded and led product and corporate development for InShopper, a cash-back service that was acquired by one of the largest internet holdings in Europe, Mail.Ru. He began his career at UBS Investment Bank with a focus on Emerging Markets Equity and also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. Albert holds an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics at Moscow State University.
