Amy covers European fintech and venture capital for Sifted. She is based in London but covers fintech companies based all over Europe — from seed stage to the big neobanks. She also writes Sifted's weekly fintech newsletter. Previously, Amy has been featured in the Financial Times, The Guardian, Reuters, and City AM. Her first taste of European tech came when she worked for Italian unicorn Yoox in Milan — since then, she's retained a soft spot for Italy's burgeoning startup scene, and is also Sifted's eyes on Italy.
