Anna Laycock is Lead Strategist at The Finance Innovation Lab, a non-profit organisation that works with start-ups, civil society leaders and intrapreneurs to build a better financial system. She leads The Lab's work to support socially useful financial innovators and was recently named a global Femtech Leader. Prior to joining The Lab, Anna spent four years Ecology Building Society, where she led the Society’s research, public affairs and ethical practice. She was instrumental in the development of regulation to enable building societies to issue a new type of shares to their members, supported the development of a groundbreaking partnership between Ecology and crowdfunding platform Abundance Investment, and represented the Society at the Global Alliance for Banking on Values.
