Dr. Christine Kymn is chief economist and director of the economic research within the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy. Dr. Kymn leads a team of research and regulatory economists who produce original works and manage contract research, as well as analyze the impact of proposed regulations on small business. Before joining Advocacy, Dr. Kymn served as a policy analyst at the Office of Management and Budget’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA). She received her Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University and her law degree from George Mason’s School of Law. Dr. Kymn has taught economics at Washington and Lee University and she was a visiting professor for a year at GMU School of Law. She has also worked for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics and a benefits consulting company, and she has been a volunteer and a student board member for the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center.
