Jake Wombell-Povey



As Managing Director and Cofounder of Goji, Jake is an avid change provocateur and focused on growing the company into a powerhouse of the marketplace lending sector globally. Jake is responsible for driving Goji's strategy, the company’s finances and managing Goji’s relationships with its partner platforms and the propositions built for them. Prior to stepping up and launching Goji, Jake advised some of the largest UK P2P lending platforms during his five years as an adviser at Grant Thornton, the global advisory firm. This work included IPOs and strategic and regulatory reviews for some of the biggest names in the fintech and wealth management sectors. These included Woodford Investment Management’s £800m IPO, the sale of Intelliflo to Hg and the sale of GoCompare.com.
