Kareem Al-Bassam

Kareem has more than 15 years experience in a range of Product, Innovation and leadership roles for financial technology companies in Australia, America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.  Most recently with PayPal, Kareem founded PayPal Credit Australia, launching its Working Capital product in 2014 and safely growing the portfolio into one of Australia’s largest fin-tech lenders. Beginning his career with a small family-start-up through to stints in London and Silicon Valley, Kareem brings Tyro a range of experience and a strong passion for building financially sound solutions which benefit customers.
