Head of Alternative Finance

Mark is head of alternative finance at Liberum. Prior to this he worked a PwC. Mark spent c.18  years in investment banking, leading various UK, European and Global equity research teams for organisations such as Nomura, Collins Stewart and more recently Liberum Capital. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Mark’s works in the UK Deals practice, in a central role focussed on proactively originating transaction ideas for PwC’s client base.  In particular he has been actively working with a number of PwC teams in assisting emerging P2P platforms in areas including capital raising, ethical hacking reviews, run off services, and advice on tax, audit and regulation. Mark has been a regular speaker at the annual AltFi Summits held in London and contributed to the Nesta/University of Cambridge/PwC 2014 report “Understanding Alternative Finance” – arguably considered the leading source of information on the sector in the UK.
