Chief Risk Officer
Matt is the Chief Risk Officer at Bamboo, and leads the team responsible for credit, product, and commercial strategy. He is at heart an analyst, but has enjoyed leading both technical and commercial teams in a diverse set of financial institutions.
After spending over a decade abroad in Canada and Spain he returned the to the UK in 2013 just in time to join Bamboo as they launched in market, and has since enjoyed the challenge of helping take a fin-tech start-up to an established and successful alternative lender.
What motivates Matt is the fusion of advanced analytics, commercial savviness, and agile tech, which he believes is the key to building a successful business and great customer outcomes.
